Me and my vision

Me? I’m a person who grew up in a small town on a small farm who, at a young age, learned the importance of hard work. I am also someone who floundered when entering the large university scene and switched to small community college life quickly. Then moved onto even smaller views with my massage institution. Academy of Natural Therapy is where I learned the massage arts. I found massage purely by coincidence. I had a friend (thank you Krista!) who needed a receptionist spot filled at a massage clinic. Well that clinic was attached to a school (The Academy) and who would’ve thought I’d be here today, a licensed massage therapist of four years.

Why do I massage? I think all massage therapists have one thing in common. And that’s the compassion to ease someone’s pain. I want to help others and the form that takes is in helping ease others aches and pains, showing someone they can be comfortable in their body, and adding peace and quiet to busy lives. I fell into this profession and I have fell in love in it along the way. I love what I do and I hope to use my working hands to help as many people as I can.

Here’s me in my free time, I have four cats and a loving fiance. I play volleyball, see friends, drink lots of tea and coffee and get back to that farm I grew up on as often as I can!
