What is Working Hands?
I’m a person who grew up in a small town on a small farm who, at a young age learned the importance of hard work. I am also someone who floundered when entering the large university scene and switched to small community college life quickly. I found massage purely by coincidence. I had a friend (thank you Krista!) who needed a receptionist spot filled at a massage clinic. Well that clinic was attached to a school (The Academy of Natural Therapy in Greeley) and who would’ve thought I’d be here today, a licensed massage therapist of four years.
I think all of us massage therapists have one thing in common, and that’s the compassion to ease someone’s pain. I want to help others and the form that takes is in helping ease others aches and pains, showing someone they can be comfortable in their body, and adding peace and quiet to busy lives. I love what I do and I hope my working hands can help as many people as possible.
Here’s me with one of my four cats (yes four, I know) I have a fantastic fiancé who is also a massage therapist, a great community of friends and other massage therapists, and a loving family. I play volleyball, drink lots of tea and coffee, read as often as possible, and get back to that farm I grew up on as often as I can!
